Managing Phone Numbers

Phone Numbers are an essential part of Nubitalk. With them you can have a point of contact where your clients can reach you, or an identifier when you are doing an outbound campaign.

You can have two types of Phone Numbers:

  • Regular - regular number with an associated cost to each communication.
  • Special - a special number, for instance a free calling number for an emergency service.

In order to be able to add a Phone Number, you have to have acquired a license, as explained here. Than you can:

 

Buying Numbers

If you are a tenant you can buy numbers to be used on your call centers. To do it: 

  1.  Go to manage and select phone numbers (ddi):




  2. The Phone Numbers (DDI) list opens. Click in to open the Buy Phone Numbers (DDI):



  3. Type the amount of Phone Numbers (DDI) and/or Special Numbers you want to acquire and the license time.
  4. Click billing info. The billing info screen appears:



  5. Fill in the billing information accordingly and click buy now to complete the acquisition of the numbers.

 

Assigning a Phone Number

To assign a phone number:

  1. Go to manage and select phone numbers (ddi). The Phone Numbers (DDI) list will appear.
  2. Click in to open the Select phone numbers (DDI) menu:



  3. Drag the desired numbers from the Available list and drop them in the Assigned list.
  4. Click save to confirm the assigned numbers.

The assigned numbers will now be shown in the Phone Numbers (DDI) list and can be used in campaigns:

 

 

Unassigning a Phone Number

To unassign a phone number:

  1. Go to manage and select phone numbers (ddi).
  2. The Phone Numbers (DDI) list will appear. Click in to open the Select phone numbers (DDI) menu.
  3. Drag the desired numbers from the Assigned list and drop them in the Available list.
  4. Click save to confirm the unassigned numbers.

The Phone Numbers (DDI) list will display all numbers that are currently assigned, and the counter in will increment, showing the number of Phone Numbers you have available to assign.
