Manage phone numbers

Phone Numbers are an essential part of Nubitalk. With them you can have a point of contact where your clients can reach you, or an identifier when you are doing an outbound campaign.

There are two types of phone numbers:

  • Regular - Regular number with an associated cost to each communication.
  • Added value - A special number, with an added value where the client will pay an extra amount per minute of conversation.

 

On the Phone numbers page, you can:

 

Phone number list

The Manage phone numbers window shows a list of phone numbers created, along with the selected information about them:

On the phone numbers homepage you can:

 

To edit the information displayed:

  • Click on settings_icon.png to open the settings pop-up:

  • On the pop-up:
    • Click on the check box of the information you want displayed.
    • The selected columns have a Settings_pop-up_check.png and are presented on a list on top.
    • The unselected columns have a Settings_pop-up_uncheck.png and are present on a list below.
    • Click SAVE to apply changes.

 

The information available for selection is:

Phone Number  -  The number.
Type  -  The type of phone number (regular or added value).
Country  -  The phone number origin.
Provider  -  The phone number provider.
Used by  -  The user, group or auto-attendant using this number.
Tip: Click on a phone number, from the list, to open that phone number configuration page.

 

 

To refresh the information displayed:

  • Click on Users_REFRESH.png.

 

To filter the information displayed:

  • Click on Users_filter.png.
  • Select a category from the drop-down menu.
  • On the selected category, click on Users_filtericon.png.
  • Select the desired itens.
Note: Click on Users_filternot.png to delete the filter.

  

To delete a phone number:

  • Select the phone number(s) by clicking on the row's checkbox.
  • On the top right-side of the screen, click on Users_delete.png to delete the phone number(s).
                        or
  • Click on Users_actions.png on the phone number's row.
  • Click on Delete from the drop-down menu.

 

Create Phone number

Click on Phonenumbers_createbutton.png to open the Create phone number pop-up window:

On the Create phone number pop-up window:

  • Insert the country where the phone numbers origins from (mandatory).
  • Insert a phone number (mandatory).
  • Insert the quantity of phone numbers (mandatory).
  • Select, on the Number type, if the number is (mandatory):
    • Regular.
    • Added value.
  • Select the phone number provider, from the drop-down menu:
  • Click CREATE to apply changes and close the pop-up window.

Edit Phone number

 Click on the phone number, on the list, to open the phone number Profile:

Edit the phone number information

Click on User_profile_edit.png to open the phone number pop-up window:

On the Edit phone number pop-up window:

  • Insert the country where the phone numbers origins from (mandatory).
  • Insert a phone number (mandatory).
  • Select, on the Number type, if the number is (mandatory):
    • Regular.
    • Added value.
  • Select the phone number provider, from the drop-down menu:
  • Click CREATE to apply changes and close the pop-up window.

 

Edit the phone number profile

Click on User_profile_actions.png to open the drop-down menu:

On the drop-down menu you can:

  • Delete - Delete the distribution group.

 

See the phone number users

On Number Usage you can see the user this phone number is assigned to:

Note: You can't edit or delete phone numbers that have users associated.
